Fatigue.

The thing is, for PMR, no matter how badly you did, you still pass onto Form Four. For SPM, you're still going to get into college. Maybe it's not Pure Science stream, maybe it's not KYUEM- but there's always that safety net to catch you if you, for some God-forsaken reason, fail to meet your expectations.

But here? It's all you. You are the one who is going to wait anxiously for that university offer letter. You make the choices, you call the shots. You're deciding exactly where your life is going for the first time, doing what you specifically choose to do for the first time, and you want your first independent step to be executed flawlessly.

Flawless. I cannot describe how much that word is hated in this college.

This is my future. I have never worked so hard in my life. University, please be the best experience of my life. Please be worth it.

There is no such thing as over-achievement.
There is no such thing as over-achievement.
There is no such thing as over-achievement.
