A note for all the n00bs- I'm not a fanatic, as SOME PEOPLE are, but I do recognize that there are some names you cannot escape in this plastic, material world full of perfect faces and perfect legs. So the next time somebody you know blogs about Kpop, if you wanna know who the hell they're talking about, just keep on reading and watch every single video. Kay? Kay.

TOP NAMES YOU SHOULD KNOW TO GET INTO THE KPOP WORLD

1. Super Junior (SM Entertainment)
Famous for: Sorry Sorry, having 13 members, losing people (sorry it had to be said).
Recent hit: Bonamana.
Fan-club: Everlasting Friends (ELFs).
The thing about them is: it is not exactly important to know every single member's name. :D





2. SNSD/Girls Generation (SM Entertainment)
Famous for: Gee, Genie, and other videos involving them showing off their legs
Recent hit: Run Devil Run (but Oh was a better single. Srs.)
Fan-club: S♥ne (SO-NE)
The thing about them is: only watch their videos if you are absolutely comfortable with the way you look. Otherwise, you will feel fat and ugly after looking at them dance. (Be comforted though- it's all fa-fa-fake.)





3. Dong Bang Shin Ki a.k.a. DBSK, THSK in Japan, and TVXQ in China. (ex-SM Entertainment)
Famous for: Mirotic, lawsuits, and splitting up 'indefinitely'
Recent hit: ... refer to above
Fan-club: Cassiopeia. We (YES, WE!) are registered as the biggest fanbase in the world by World Guiness Records. So beat that, Justin Bieberboy.
The thing about them is: they read fan-fiction about themselves. :facepalm:





4. Big Bang (YG)
Famous for: Gara Gara Go, being chill, the guy who almost went to jail (G-Dragon)
Recent hit: Tell Me Good-bye, but IMHO Koe Wo Kikasete (Let Me Hear Your Voice) would be a better bet for you to get pulled in into their music.
Fan-club: VIP.
The thing about them is: they're really down-to-earth behind all that make-up.





5. 2P.M. (JYP)
Famous for: the Jay fiasco in which their leader [Jay] was exiled to USA for a freaking Myspace comment made 2 years ago, their crazy-ass fans who put up posters for Jay's return and vandalized cars and stuff, and their explosive Heartbeat single after Jay left. It used to be Again & Again, but that kinda got overshadowed by the Jay fiasco.
Recent hit: It doesn't matter; they're not complete.
Fan-club: Hottests.
The thing about them is: 7-1=0 D: I give you the video where they were seven, and whole, and happy.
